Which bouquet size works where?
Choosing a beautiful bouquet often starts with colour, but size matters just as much.

A bouquet that looks perfectly balanced in a product photo may dominate a narrow side table, while a subtle bouquet can disappear on a large dining table.
Look beyond height: width, depth, viewing direction and the space around the bouquet matter too.
Choose the place before the size
Start with the bouquet's permanent place. Consider the furniture, nearby objects, walking space and the directions from which you will see it.
Height is only one number
A tall bouquet can be slim and airy while another spreads much wider. Measure the space the full bouquet may occupy.

On the dining table
Keep the sight line comfortable and leave enough room for tableware and everyday use. An airy bouquet may feel lighter than a lower but denser composition.
On a sideboard
A sideboard often allows more height. Balance the bouquet with lamps, art and mirrors and leave some breathing room around it.
In the hallway
Depth is especially important in a hallway. A narrower upright bouquet can work better than branches that extend into the walking route.
On the coffee table
Choose a lower, compact bouquet that adds atmosphere without taking over the table or blocking the view.
A simple test
Make the volume visible with a box, vase or stack of books, then view it from the sofa and doorway.
In conclusion
The right size is not the largest bouquet that fits, but one that adds presence while remaining part of the room.
